Felix in uniform

Felix took the opportunity of his promotion! to don his commisioned corps uniform. He is now an 04. He also received an achievement award. The unit manager asked me to pin his new status on his uniform.... We're happy with the promotion, for sure! :)

we took a boat out of kodiak a couple weekends ago - we caught enough halibut for dinner and lots of these ugly things that we threw back.

A blog for the wedding

so - the other day i received an rsvp that said - "i can't come, but i'm excited to see the pictures online!" so, i thought it was about time to start a blog. for all of you "family" - this is similar to molly's blog for the boys. so, feel free to leave comments, etc. and this will continue to be felix's and my blog post-wedding and our life together onwards. :) thanks all for your love and i'm excited to see some of you this summer! annie
